A Message From The President & CEO

DataComm Networks has been part of the technology landscape for almost 25 years. Being part of this organization since 1989 has been an honor. Having the opportunity to take the reigns this year has been both an opportunity and a pleasure. Our customers, new and old, give us the energy to come to work each day, and to continue to develop and promote new products and services to address your everyday IT objectives. Doing business with OUR FRIENDS gives us an opportunity to work together to ensure that what we do makes sense – – technically and economically. We will continue to foster our long-term relationships with our clients. Since March when Travis Norris and I took control of DataComm we’ve done a myriad of things to improve our business processes and offerings to serve our clients better. We’ve restructured our staff. We’ve remodeled our offices. We’ve added personnel to improve our efficiencies and improve our customer service. Simple things like direct phone numbers to key personnel and our support teams made a big difference. Our technological advances have given us the opportunities to offer our clients more with new services like Hosted Email Encryption (SecurMail), enhanced SecurShield offerings including Windows Security Event Viewer Logging / Monitoring, and our latest Firewall Management offerings. DataComm completed its SAS 70 Type II Certification in August, giving our clients what they needed to feel comfortable that we’re doing all we can to insure the sensitivity of your own and your customers’ data. Our Unified Communications solutions from ShoreTel and Cisco have given our customers the ability to communicate more efficiently and cost-effectively with each other and their customers. As we continue into 2009, we will be offering more in terms of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. Travis and I would like to thank you for your continued support. We’re looking forward to another 25 years of success and helping you accomplish all of your IT objectives. We will continue to develop our “ONE CALL” approach to servicing our clients be it LAN, WAN, Telephony, Cabling, Security, or ongoing Support under one umbrella with DataComm personnel. Brian C.
